Mission Statement: “The Ministry of Love”
Vision: Matthew 25:31-40 says, 31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy[a] angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
As we experience the love of Christ in the prayer room we are compelled to give it away. The Love Ministry is an outward expression of the Love we have encountered in the prayer room. According to Galatians, love is the work which His presence accomplishes.
Love ministry actively seeks opportunities to assault the kingdom of darkness through acts of justice and righteousness. We spread joy in truth and prayer with compassion. The Bible promises in Isaiah 61, healing to the brokenhearted, liberty to captives, comfort to those who mourn, beauty for ashes and garments of praise for heaviness. The Lord says He will not forget those according to Isaiah 49:15.
The prophetic word that was given at the start of this ministry was “My love can do more than you can imagine.” We believe that with love all things are possible! God is love! We operate according to the commandment in Matthew to, “love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, “and to “love your neighbor as yourself.” We search out for lost sheep to bring them in to the fold with the rod of love.
1Corinthians 13 says,4 Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.5 It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].6 It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
7 Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].8 Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end].
Our ministry is love.
