Director
Grace Abbey has been a resident of Mansfield for over a decade. Grace worked in Corporate America for over 14 years and left corporate America in 2009 to run her own business. Little did she know that the Lord was leading her into a different kind of business (Kingdom Business)! As a business owner she developed a love for people and building lasting relationship through sharing the love of God wherever she went. In 2011 she started the Love Ministry through her church with a few young people doing bible study and sharing the love of God at the Aisles at WaterCrest Nursing Home here in Mansfield and at low income apartment complexes. In 2012 Grace and a couple of her friends decided to use her home to host weekly Friday night prayer meetings.
The vision grew so big that she had to obey the voice of God to close her business and go into full time ministry. In 2013, she closed her commercial cleaning business and answered the call to go into full time ministry. This is how Mansfield House of Prayer was birthed. With the help of the Lord and a few faithful brothers and sisters in the Lord she is moving forward with the vision He has given her. Grace is an ordained and licensed minister. She served as a youth pastor at Word of Life church and Regeneration Church here in Mansfield. She is currently a member of Gateway Church and involved in the Freedom team as a section leader. Served as a Prayer Minister Lead at Kenneth Copeland Ministries, and currently in a role of a Project Manager in the Partner Relations and Superkid Academy of KCM. She is part of The Circle, a DESTINY TRAINING program led by Chris Estrada (Youth Director of Christ for the Nations). As a community leader, Grace is involved in the community of Mansfield through prayer by serving on the monthly pastors’ prayer meeting with Mayor Cook. Serves as a leader for the Mansfield Citywide Prayer and occasionally leads prayer during City Council Meetings. She is a mother of an amazing teenage daughter, Kamillah. Grace loves the Lord, her favorite scripture is I
Corinthians 13! Her favorite saying is “The devil is a LIAR!”
