Mansfield House of Prayer Ministry Vision
There is something to be said about “Safe Houses”! The vision the Lord has given this house is to create a “Safe House” where his love, joy and purpose dwell. In a “Safe House” there is shelter, protection, food, fellowship and you leave filled up with a purpose.
The entire vision of MHOP is in Psalm 27:4;
“One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple”.
Out of that place, the Lord has commissioned us to extend that same invitation to everyone that walks through the doors of His House of Prayer. It is a place where everything begins, to impact a generation with the love of God through intimacy with the Father. Secondly, is to serve and strengthen the prayer ministries in local churches in this region and to be a catalyst by inspiring and supporting others in prayer. All acts of mercy, love and justice begins with Prayer.
As in Matthew 6:33 Jesus said “But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you beside”. MHOP is a place where there is no discrimination of age, denomination, or where you are in your spiritual journey. It is a place where passion for the Lord is encouraged and identity is revealed. MHOP is a place to freely practice your spiritual gifting.
Our commission for this House of Prayer is to continue until Jesus returns.
We started in April 2012 here in Mansfield. Our first night we had 8 people in attendance. Our numbers started increasing every week as people came and had an encounter with the Lord and then went back and invited their family and friends. The number of people that has come through here since two years ago has numbered over hundred and more.
In December of 2013, the lord provided a bigger house for us to meet and to expand the vision and invite the community of Mansfield and its suburbs to the altar of His Fire and Throne Room and to have encounters with him. We are moving forward this fall as the Lord has provided more public environment to make it more available to whosoever may come.
We are not a local church, we are here to support local churches in doing what Jesus wants to establish here on earth through worship, prayer and intercession.
The heart of our Heavenly Father is yearning for his sons and daughters in the end time to come to a place of deeper intimacy with him. We are honored that he chose us and the City of Mansfield to engage in what is going on in heaven, which is 24 hour worship and adoration to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords and to prepare his bride for his coming.
